By now I'm sure we all know our story. But for those of you who are curious...

Joyce and Brian first met through work when Joyce contracted with Brian's employer for IT support. Over the next five years they developed a collaborative and friendly professional relationship that saw many complex and difficult projects completed successfully.

Their professional relationship grew into a personal friendship. They discovered they shared a similar past growing up, liked the same music (Mostly), appreciated fine cuisine, and enjoyed traveling.

As they talked, laughed, and learned more about each other their friendship turned romantic. They traveled together, went to concerts, enjoyed meals at restaurants and at home, and learned more about each other.

Brian had decided to ask Joyce to marry in the beginning of 2020. When he told his Aunt Judie of his plans, she offered him a ring that was his Grandmother's so he could use some of the stones in the setting. Brian had a custom ring made using two of the stones from his Grandmother's ring along with a center stone he picked out. He had planned to propose in May, but The Pandemic changed that. Brian proposed on March 22nd at one of their favorite restaurants the night before "The Lockdown".
